Club notes

Training for all juvenile teams will resume after the Easter holidays at the Fairgreen on Saturday April 23 from 2pm to 3pm.The usual €2 contribution will apply and new players are welcome.

The club are holding a major fundraiser this Good Friday April 15 in the town. Members will be asked to help out with the flag day/bucket collection for an hour or two and you can contact Treasurer David Duffy 0876536665 or Caroline Whyte 0876475093.

The Louth senior team opened up their Lory Meagher Cup campaign with a good 2-27 to 1-10 victory over Lancashire at the Abbotstown Gaa Centre on Sunday afternoon April 10. The Moninne players that started were Feidhelm Joyce (0-5), Mark Gahan (0-7) and Andrew Mackin with Padraig Fallon (0-1) and Mattie Fee making second half substitute appearances. Louth play Monaghan in round 2 this coming Sunday afternoon April 17 in Darver at 2pm.

Our senior team play Knockbridge in the opening round of the Special League tomorrow night (Thursday) April 14 in the DKIT at 8pm.

A reminder that the Naomh Moninne Hurling Cul Camp will be held in Dowdallshill from Monday August 8 to Friday August 12 and bookings can be made on line at kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie.
