It is proposed to commence outdoor training for all juveniles this Saturday April 9 at the Fairgreen in Dundalk from 2pm to 3pm (TBC). There will be a weekly €2 contribution required on the day and new players are welcome.

Our senior team qualified for the Leinster League Div5 Shield Final with a good 2-17 to 0-12 semi final victory over Clonguish (Longford) in Brownstown on Saturday afternoon April 2. The team will play Arklow Rocks Parnell (Wicklow) in the Final bon a date and at a venue TBC. The Moninne team was - Donal Connolly, Paul Challoner, David Yore, Paddy Wehrly, Stephen Rafferty, Darren O Hanrahan, Diarmuid Murphy, Aaron McGuinness Smith (0-2), James Murphy, Ultan McEnaney (0-9), Conor Murphy (1-2), Seamus Mulhall, Kyle Judge (0-1), Dylan Carey (1-3). Subs used were Tadhg Litchfield and Donal Lee.

Several of our senior players will be vying for starting places on the Louth team as they open their 2022 Lory Meagher Cup campaign with a game against Lancashire in Abbotstown this Sunday afternoon April 10 at 12 noon.

Likewise several of our U17 hurlers will be in action for the Louth team in their opening Celtic Challenge game against Roscommon in Darver this Saturday afternoon April 9 at 12 noon.

On Monday night April 11 our U15 team are fixed to play Knockbridge in the opening round of group K in the Tain Og at 7pm.

The club will hold their first fundraiser of the year with a flag day (bucket collection) in the town on Good Friday April 15. Members will be asked to help on the day and you can contact Treasurer David Duffy 0876536665 for details.
