The club held their AGM on line last Friday night where they reviewed the activities of the last 12 months, the highlight for many being the seeding of the new pitch at our development in Toberona. 

  On the field of play we celebrated success in the Senior Special League and Championship as well as capturing an U17 Tain Og Divisional title. We also have the 2021 Senior League Final and U17 League/Championship Final to play in early 2022.

  The following officers were elected for 2022 - Honorary President Jim McGuinness; Chairman Ger Collins; Vice Chairman Stephen Ryan; Secretary Josephine Maguire; Ass Secretary Margaret Dignan Moloney; Treasurer David Duffy; Ass Treasurer John Murphy; PRO Maurice Murphy; Co Board Rep Maurice Murphy; Club Children's Officer Ger Collins; Irish Language and Cultural Officer James Murphy; Club Registrar Josephine Maguire; Insurance Officer Paul Drumm; Health Club Officer Stephen Ryan; Club Juvenile Coaching Co-ordinater Paul Heaney; Club Development Officer Eddie McArdle, Paul Cumiskey; Player Representative Paul Challoner; Coiste Iomana/Coiste Na Nog Delegate Paul Heaney; Committee members Kevin Joyce; Kieran Somers, Tim Murphy, Eamon Reilly, Fiachra Carroll, Caroline Whyte, Sean McEnaney, JJ Murphy, Darren O Hanrahan, David Yore, Mark Gahan, Cathal Azzopardi.

  It was also announced that club stalwart John Murphy is the new senior team manager in succession to Paul Drumm.

  Membership fees for 2022 remain unchanged and are as follows - adult player €60, student player €25, non player €25, juvenile €20 and family membership €60.

  The Louth senior hurlers suffered a third heavy defeat on Saturday afternoon, this time to Down in Ballela, in the Ulster Conor McGurk Cup. Team preparations continue and will include games against Longford next Sunday afternoon January 23 and Wicklow the following weekend in the Kehoe Cup Shield competition before the start of the NHL in February.
