Our senior team recorded a good 1-23 to 1-5 victory over Mattock/St Kevin's in the second round of the Championship in Darver last Thursday night. The Moninne scorers were Darren Geoghegan (0-10), Dylan Carey (0-5), Mark Gahan (0-4), Andrew Mackin (1-1), Daire Flanagan (0-1), Darren O Hanrahan (0-1), James Murphy (0-1).

   They will take on St Fechins in round three of the competition this Thursday night at 7.15pm in Darver and your support is welcome.

  In the U17 Tain Og last Wednesday night August 11, Moninne suffered a 4-13 to 1-8 defeat to St Fechins in Termonfeckin. They are fixed to play Warrenpoint at home this Wednesday night in the Fairgreen at 7.30pm. 

  Darver is the venue on Tuesday night  for an U7 All County Games Blitz at 7pm. 

  There will be no juvenile training this Saturday afternoon August 21 as the club will hold a major fundraiser in the form of a flagday/bucket collection in Dundalk Town. Members will be asked to offer up an hour or two to help out with the collection and you can contact club Treasurer David Duffy 0876536665 if you are available to help. 

   On Saturday afternoon August 21 our U15 team will take part in the Feile Day blitz in Darver at a time TBC.

The club recently relaunched the 'Field Heros' account where members will be asked to contribute financially a monthly contribution of at least €5 to assist in the new pitch development at Toberona. Also in the last week a gofund.me page for the pitch project was launched.
